My first bustier.
For my Draping and Garment Construction II class we were to drape and design a bustier inspired from Valentino and unique to us.
After looking through a book my teacher had, I noticed some of the scallopped edges on his dresses during the 20s era and used that as inspiration for my neckline.
I added my own personal flare to the outer shell--as the bustier is made up of three layers sewn all together---lining, foundation(with boning for support and interfacing for durability), and outer shell. Grommets were attached at the end for lacing closure.
